Northwich IDL Dyslexia Centre is based at Winnington House in Northwich, Cheshire where we operate late afternoon sessions specifically designed to assist those with diagnosed dyslexia or reading and spelling difficulties.

The IDL programme is an established structural interactive multi-sensory learning system designed for both children and adults.   After an initial assessment to discover where individual needs lie, the programme is specifically tailored to each pupil.   The programme is delivered on a 1-2-1 basis using computers.   Our success rate is outstanding, and we have found that as well as improvement in spelling and reading, there is always a marked improvement in confidence and self-esteem.

The individual programmes can take as little as 3 months to take effect and usually require 2 visits to the centre a week.   Our staff are trained to the highest standard and understand the frustrations that can come from dyslexia both to the individual and their families.
